This is to certify that I, _________________________ have read the Submission Guidelines and am applying to the MIAAC Film Festival after accepting all conditions and requirements.
- I am aware of the eligibility criteria and that my film is eligible for this festival
- Exhibition formats acceptable are Digibeta, Beta and 35mm
- I am aware that, if accepted, I will not be able to withdraw my film
- I am aware that if accepted the film will not commercially or at any other film festival in the New York area at any other festival before the screening at the MIAAC Film Festival.
I understand that in order to have my film considered for the MIAAC Film Festival:
- I will submit the appropriate application fee
- I will submit 4 screener all-zone DVDs of my film to the MIAAC Film Festival to be eligible for competition
- I am responsible for all mailing costs of all DVDs and videotapes
- If accepted, I will provide a good exhibition print in the format requested by November 1, 2009.
I will be notified of acceptance of my film by September 11, 2009. If selected:
- I will provide a press kit with film stills, reviews, synopsis, length, screening format, cast & crew, filmmaker photograph and biographies
- I will provide posters and postcards for display
- I will provide two copies to be submitted in Digibeta or Beta, in either NTSC/PAL systems
- Exhibition Digibeta and Beta tapes must have final color correction and sound mix
- A 30 sec trailer on an all-zone DVD
- All tapes and trailer DVDs submitted must be labeled for running times
- I will be invited to the Opening Night film screening and will walk the Red carpet
- I will also receive a full-access pass for all festival screenings, parties, panels and discussions, closing night screening/award ceremony/party. I am
- responsible for any additional ticket purchases (additional screening tickets, opening night gala dinner)
- I will be present for the press conference and my own post-screening Q&A
- I will be present for the Closing Night Red Carpet Screening and Award Ceremony
I have read, signed and submitted the Filmmaker Agreement and Application Form.
